Hospitality strategy consultant for complex change

Change that is bigger than one department.

TrevCom guides hospitality and leisure organisations through change that does not translate one to one: a new organisation, a system migration, a different commercial model. As hospitality strategy consultant, I bring leadership, commercial and technology back to one plan that holds up in execution.

Why

Change rarely fails on technology.

It fails in the space between the boardroom, the commercial team and the system landscape.

Everyone at the table is right from where they sit. The CEO wants direction, the CCO wants revenue, the CTO wants a landscape that works. As long as those three are not reading the same plan, a migration becomes a copy of the old problem in a new system, and a reorganisation becomes a new org chart with the same habits.

That is where TrevCom sits: as the strategist who sees the whole, makes the choices explicit and guards the translation until the result is there.

Who I work with

One plan, three perspectives.

I work with the people who have to carry the change. Each with their own question, together with one answer.

CEO

Direction and control

A strategy translated into choices, sequence and ownership. A clear view of what the change delivers and where the risk sits, without needing to be in every detail.

CCO

Revenue that keeps pace

A commercial model, go-to-market and guest journey that strengthen the change instead of disrupting it. Revenue and margin stay on course through the transition.

CTO

A landscape with a purpose

Systems, data and processes designed from the commercial question. Not a migration that rebuilds the past, but an architecture that makes the strategy possible.

Mandates

Where I am brought in.

  • 01

    Organisational change

Redesigning structure, roles and decision making around the strategy. From design to the moment the new way of working runs on its own.

  • 02

    Complex system migrations

A system migration to a new PMS, CRS, CRM or ERP, where processes, data and responsibilities change with it. Not a like-for-like transfer, but a redesign of what the new system has to deliver.

  • 03

    Commercial repositioning

A new revenue model, market or brand. Revenue strategy, distribution, go-to-market and the online business plan in one coherent design, together with the organisation that has to execute it.

  • 04

Data as the basis for decisions

Every plan starts with a reliable reading of the data. I bring measurement, reporting and steering in order, so leadership decides on facts rather than instinct.

Track record

From advisor to inside the organisation.

The Social Hub started as a client. At their request, I joined the organisation to carry the change from within.

Role

The hospitality strategy consultant beside the board.

I am not an implementation partner and I do not sell software. That leaves me free to advise on what the organisation actually needs, and to keep the parties who build it focused on the goal.

  • Read first, then buildNo advice without an honest diagnosis of data, organisation and market.
  • The whole over the partsCommercial, organisation and technology in one design, not three separate tracks.
  • Explicit choicesWhat we do, what we leave and in what order. On paper, with an owner.
  • Until it standsInvolved until the result is visible in practice, not until the report is done.

Practice for independent and boutique hotels

MinersRepublic: the same approach, for independent and boutique hotels.

For independent and boutique hotels in the Netherlands I translated the method into its own label: MinersRepublic. Revenue, distribution, systems and the guest journey in one coherent plan. There I publish openly how I analyse and what I steer on. The knowledge base shows how I think. The Quickscan makes it concrete for a single hotel.

About

Henri-Dick Rondhuis

I work where strategy, commercial and technology meet. Exactly where most change programmes stall.

Through TrevCom I take on mandates that do not fit a standard approach: complex, standalone and with a clear goal for the organisation as a whole. I work directly with leadership, without intermediate layers.
